Ben’s favourite Chag is Sukkot, and for good reason! He celebrated his Bar Mitzvah on Sukkot with family and friends after he lained his Haftorah with aplomb at Noranda Shule. Although Ben thought his voice was shaking with nerves, he sang beautifully, giving his parents, family and teacher Rabbi White, much nachas. Although he started out as a tennis champ (winning a tournamen ...

On the weekend of Week 5 we, the Year 9s, had an incredible time on Machane Zooz! This was our first camp sleeping over for the weekend including shabbat. The theme of this camp was shabbat - which was very fitting being our first altogether as a whole. The camp was filled with ruach, tochniot, chugim and extremely fun games. The shabbat was very uplifting with amazing food and vibes. For us and our year we had the best time. All the mads, teachers and students really brought the camp alive and it made this camp the best one yet. Thank you to everyone involved including Mrs Niss, Mr Lawrence, our madrichim and the kitchen crew.

Shabbat Shalom and Kol Hakavod to our Year 2s! ...

This camp in particular really made each and every one of us reflect on ourselves, our Jewish values (midot) and our Jewis ...

The Lavi Family arrived at Carmel from Israel in 2017. Since then, Gilad and Ester have not only added two more children to the Lavi family but have done so much for Carmel Primary and High Schools. We fare them well and wish them lehitraot and behatzlacha - see you later and good luck - as they return to Israel. ...
