On the evening of Tuesday 11 August, both the Novice and Junior Debate teams won their debates against Butler College and Christchurch Grammar School respectively. Our Novices affirmed ‘that this house would financially reward people for doing good deeds’ and our Juniors negated ‘that this house would ban religious institutions from asking for donations from their followers.’
