Our High School Speech Night, celebrated on 6 December, was a bittersweet event as we celebrated our talented students while also farewelling our beloved Principal, Shula Lazar as she takes up her new role as Principal of Yavneh College in Melbourne. We would like to thank Morah Shula for her dedication to our School, initiating three fantastic musicals, a successful entrepreneurship program and, as the President of our School Board Mark Majzner stated in his address, "Morah Shula definitely made Carmel a more compassionate and kinder School." Morah Shula was kindly gifted a 2021 school leaver jumper by the Year 12 Cohort, just so she never forgets us! We wish Morah Shula a hatzlachah and all the best in her new role at Yavneh, they are so lucky to have her!

The evening concluded with a PowerPoint presentation summing up the amazing 2021 Carmel year that was.
