Marcus V, Ezra L, Mia C, Joshua S, Yonatan K and Daniel L were recently selected to participate in the National Chess Online tournament for schools, organised by Kids Unlimited, and were privy to a series of lectures designed to assist them to grow their skills. The event took place over two days with the students playing seven games. Our students came fourth out of 22 schools across the nation! They were presented with certificates to acknowledge their significant efforts. In the individual standings, Marcus came 12th, Ezra 19th, Daniel 24th, Mia 29th, Yonatan 47th and Josh came in the 61st place.

Our Carmel Chess team has kicked goals in this game of strategy throughout 2021 and we are incredibly proud of them!
