Primary School Concert 'Miracle' Wows Audience
Chanukah is about the human spark that propels people to reach beyond their limitations and our students certainly embraced this philosophy in an outstanding performance to their families and friends on the evening of Wednesday 1 December at their end of the year concert.
The menorah and its flames represent many different miracles and our Primary School children journeyed through time as they explored miracles - nissim - both ancient and modern: the miracle of the rescue of the Jews from slavery in Egypt (Year 3); the miracle of the revival of the ancient Hebrew language (Year 4); the miracle of Israel (Year 1); the miracle of life itself (Year 5); the miracle of freedom and Jewish survival (Year 6); and, of course, the miracle of Chanukah (Year 2). We were听so proud of all our performers.
