Business Mentors Support 国标麻豆视频APP Entrepreneur Program
国标麻豆视频APP hosted its Entrepreneurship Mentor Day this week, where students from the School鈥檚 Entrepreneur Program were given the opportunity to interact with business professionals.
The aim of these sessions was to connect students with relevant business mentors, who would assist on the development, expansion and fine-tuning of their business ideas.
This year, Carmel welcomed back two of its alumni, Jordan Saddik, and Michael Breckler as mentors. Two interstate business experts also joined in via Zoom to provide their unique and broad perspectives.
Students were allocated into small groups depending on the stage they were at in the business canvas model. They also received firsthand business experience on topics such as growth marketing, supply chain management and establishing networks.
Miss Anna Lee, who has been running the program for three years, teaches across Year 9 and 10 cohorts. Most ideas brainstormed by her students, transition into a registered business with proper funding.
One such business is JordAsh, creator of the 鈥楧emist Clip鈥 product. The innovative pair, Asher R and Jordan R, found a solution to the daily woes of the mask-wearing mandate during COVID times for those who wear glasses. Their anti-fog clip is designed to sit on the nose to stop glasses from fogging up, and has accrued a wide client base, especially for those working in the office.
Another pair, Ariella S and Gila K, established Imperfect Clothing which brings affordable, customised clothes to women of all size and shape. Currently, they are selling skirts for a cost of $30 each.
Looking at the success of these sessions and the rich feedback all groups had received, Miss Lee stated that she is hopeful for the near future and its changing circumstances: 鈥淚 am looking forward to seeing how kids react to COVID and the innovative things they do to overcome it鈥.
